Ingredients
Jam roly poly
- 50 grams Vegan Margarine
- 250 grams Self-raising flour
- 25 grams Castor Sugar or Fine Brown Sugar
- 1 pod Vanilla Seeds or 1Tsp Vanilla Essence
- 50 grams Vegetable shredded suet
- 150 millilitres Plant Based Milk
- 100 grams Raspberry Jam or your favourite flavour, (I don't measure just spread it thick)
- 1/2 Bar Dark Vegan Chocolate, optional
- 2 Apples sliced, optional
Method

Tip butter, flour, sugar and vanilla seeds into a food processor or mixing bowl

Stir in the suet

Pour in the milk and work together

Tip the dough out onto a floured surface, quickly pat together to smooth, then roll out to a square roughly

Spread the jam all over and if putting in some chocolate in I put in through the centre.

roll up and pinch the edges

Carefully lift onto the greased paper, join-side down

Cook for 40mins to 1 hr in Oven but I also use my pressure cooker

Serve with Custard
