Montmorency tart cherry contains ingredients which are a rich source of polyphenols and vitamin C which have anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Tart Cherries can raise the amount of melatonin which helps to regulate sleep patterns so can help with insomnia.

Montmorency Tart Cherry Anthocyanins

Anthocyanins is a flavonoid contained naturally in dark red, purple, and blue fruits and vegetables. This is the pigments that give these fruits and vegetables their rich colours and antioxidant effects.

Anthocyanins are also found in high concentrations in blackcurrants, blackberries, pomegranate, blueberries, aubergine skin, red cabbage, cranberries, purple sweet potato and cherries.
