Astaxanthin a reddish pigment  belonging to a chemical group of carotenoids which is a  powerful antioxidant, anti-fatigue, and anti-inflammatory properties.

Carotenoids are pigmented phytochemicals found in plants, bacteria, algae that makes astaxanthin. Carotenoids offer the most diverse amazing pigment colours in nature, responsible for oranges, yellows, and pinks in fruits and plants.
